Thanksgiving Pictures

For Lila's first Thanksgiving we went to Upstate New York to visit Grandma and Grandpa Monroe. Lila enjoyed her first airplane flight and has spent the long weekend getting acquainted with her cousins Chase, Carson, and Lilian Rother and Elizabeth Monroe. Never the less, the house has been a crazy place. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there and we will continue to add pic's throughout the weekend.

Pre-Thanksgiving Stuff

Winter is upon us....

After Lila project managed my raking of leaves out in front of our house, we decided to take a walk into Bucktown. It's about 45 degrees and windy so we had her bundled up in her warmest snowmobile suit... we went and got hot coffee and dinner. We're staying in and warm tonight...enjoy.

Wake up the echoes

It has been a busy week. This past Saturday MJ and I went to Notre Dame to watch them play Pittsburgh. The game was tough as they lost in overtime, but, as you can clearly see, the tailgating was great and the campus was it's usual special self. Invasion of the Italians

An old friend of Jill from her days of teaching English in Italy is in town this weekend with his girlfriend. We have been showing them the Chicago sights. They were gracious enough to bring me a gift - a personalized jersey of the Soccer team from their hometown in Italy, Lecce. Alessandro told me that they had to special order the font to get ZIENKIEWICZ across the back of the jersey! Enjoy.

Trick or Treat!

It was Lila's first Halloween, and we decided to dress her up as a pumpkin and enjoy the unseasonably warm weather and walk the neighborhood. After that it was over to Mike and Emily's house to play with Tyler (dressed as the monkey) - Enjoy the pictures and happy belated Halloween!
