Titanium Powered!

Lila had the first of two procedures on her right arm last Wednesday. Everything went as expected and the little Lila-nator is being quite a trooper. The apparatus that they fixed is bigger than we thought, probably because she is still a little peanut. Imagine in the Terminator movies when Arnold wipes out on his motorcycle and his metal arm is exposed, that's what it looks like. We will spend the next 6 weeks cranking the hand straight, and then it's on to phase 2. Outside of the normal pain, she is in great spirits and is a tough little kid. She also, like most adults that undergo surgical procedures, loves HER drugs! She's already has been taken off codiene as it lead to her staying awake, babbling and staring at her hands, singing to herself, and breaking into uncontrollable laughter in the wee hours of the morning.... the idea with the med's is to make her painfree and tired!
